I just wanted to befriend these boys
But they thought too nicely of me
And friends we no longer could be
So I searched for a friend away from the noise.
It was your bright eyes that froze my searchlight
Yet the small smiles you held
Made my pulse beat as you compelled
And i tried to look away with all my might.
A friend to me you have diligently been
But now the tables are turned
My heart feels like it's being burned
And I feel things you could not have foreseen.
But now it is not me with the wish to just be friends
And I who looks to enjoy romance
With wishes for you to sweep me up in dance
However forced relations always come to bad ends.

short
I am so very short and quite stubby
Sometimes when you stand next to me
You look as tall as a high up tree
And you have to look very hard to see
But usually you look right over my hair that is frizzy.
I still hardly come up to your knee
The smallest waves in the sea
Threaten to bowl right over me
I must stand on a stool to pour the tea
Some people almost sit on me,"Didn't see you, sorry"
I'm so small people mistake me for a pigmy.

THANKSGIVING!!!
Howdy Howdy Howdy hey!
Turkey day is on it's way
So here's a poem to brighten your day
You'll be eating some great food on Thursday.
Before you will be sitting a lovely buffet
Of turkey, gravy and every thinkable entree
Some fillet, flambe, parfait,souffle,
Saute, and some gourmet puree.
And pardon me for I may sound cliche
Though your stomach may feel like destroyed pompeii
Howbeit life is often very unhappily portrayed
Give thanks for this and every single day.

Confession
Line upon line, row upon row
grief piles up like cruel winter snow
Words come out in a jumbled pile
Stupid and eloquent, precious and vile
Love isn't always black and white
Feelings aren't always wrong or right
I gave you all my thoughts and dreams
Please don't rip them apart at the seams
Today I confess, but will you hear me out?
Will you understand my whispers and shouts?
I'll tell you my every hope and fear
Just stay by my side, my love, stay near.
